    VPS, Tampa (FL)

    But I can’t resolve the hostname from my home PC either (and it is in Europe)

    Now it works. I suppose it was a temporary issue with WordPress servers.

    but still not working from my VPS:

    [root@vpanel ~]# nslookup api.www.remarpro.com
    ;; Got SERVFAIL reply from 127.0.0.1, trying next server
    Server:		::1
    Address:	::1#53

    ** server can't find api.www.remarpro.com: SERVFAIL

    [root@vpanel ~]# host api.www.remarpro.com
    Host api.www.remarpro.com not found: 2(SERVFAIL)
    [root@vpanel ~]#

    I will try to restart BIND and will check again.

    Looks like you might have DNS issues

    After adding nameservers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 to /etc/resolv.conf now it is working again.
    The strange part is, that I didn’t have this issue before and didn’t make any changes to the VPS, it was not even rebooted for days/weeks.
