API settings: Where do I enter my publisher key

    I only have the option to enter test publisher keys from Stripe in test mode.

    When I select Live mode, the fields to enter them disappear. There must be something I’m missing.

    Here is the description taken from the top of the API Settings page which explains that behavior:

    When test mode is enabled you can manually enter your API keys or go through the connect process. Live mode requires that you click the Connect button.

    Stripe requires users of our plugin to use the Connect process when connecting live mode. The live mode API keys cannot be entered manually.

    So you’re saying when you click connection test in live mode, the API keys are automatically transferred into the plugin??

    In Stripe, when you toggle the live/test mode, the publishable keys change. The question I’m asking is, how to you assign the “live” key from Stripe to the plugin?

    No, that is not what the description from the plugin settings states. You need to click the following button:

    The question I’m asking is, how to you assign the “live” key from Stripe to the plugin?

    To connect the plugin to live mode, you need to click the Click to Connect button shown in the screenshot. That redirects you to Stripe using Stripe’s authentication flow where you login to Stripe and are redirected back to your site. Once you are redirected back to your site, your live mode API keys will be saved automatically.
