API or Feature Request, Need More Locations

    Really love this plugin as a gateway, it works perfectly. BUT, certain charity products need certain locations (ie, bank accounts or tags) for accurate accounting. Is there ANY way to set Woocommerce “Square Location” by product? Maybe several set up in settings, and then these become location options for the admin to set for products (ie, tickets vs. donations, etc.). OR, how to tag the transaction with a code so it can flow into an accounting system by category of funds. Either option would be GREAT, maybe for this plugin as strictly a merchant gateway, not for syncing? Fingers crossed you can build on the API or ask Square to build up their website handshake parameters… Thank you!

    Out of the box, the Square extension only supports one location for now. There isn’t an option to set product-specific location. I recommend submitting this idea as a feature request here: https://woocommerce.com/feature-requests/square/

    Regarding the accounting system we would recommend considering using WooCommerce Xero:

    It might help you with business accounting functions e.g. bank reconciliation and financial reporting to inventory tracking and payroll.

    Since it is a premium extension it includes 30-days refund policy window that you can use to check if it fits your needs:
