    Hi there. We received a message from you guys regarding the deprecation of API keys starting in March of 2021 and we wanted to make sure there wasn’t anything we needed to do on our end once this goes into effect? Thanks

    “On behalf of the LiveChat Developer Platform, we want to let you know that as of the end of February 2021, we are deprecating API keys, the authorization method you use on your LiveChat license.

    All apps and integrations based on API keys need to be adjusted to Personal Access Tokens (PAT) – a method we consider safer and easier to maintain. The full description and the technical documentation is available here.

    Make sure you share it with developers responsible for the update.”

    Sorry for the late reply. As long as you don’t call our API endpoints and use the API Key for authorization, there is no need to change anything.
