    Hello,

    The plugin and API key was working fine for one year. Suddenly it shows a message saying that the API is not valid and the permission is denied.

    I checked everything on Google Cloud Platform and everything looks fine.

    Please, could you help me why is this message is displayed now?

    Thanks in advance?

    @carlamkt Please check the Retrieved Data for more details.

    A few common issues to check:

    1. Is your billing information current? This seems to be the most likely reason for it to stop running.
    2. If you’ve changed hosts, you’ll need to update your IP restriction accordingly.
    3. Finally, just recheck the API restrictions more generally as something may have been altered, such as the Places API no longer listed. This is unlikely.

    The billing account is correct.

    I haven’t changed the host.

    I enable the new api places and restrict the IP

    But it is not working.

    @carlamkt If possible, can you post your Retrieved Data error message?

    It could be the Place ID – is this a single location, not a coverage area? Sometimes these change, so check to see if your Place ID is current.

    Sometimes, just clearing the cache (in the Advanced tab) will restore access after a temporary glitch.

    This is the message:

    Error: Your Google API Key is not valid for this request and permission is denied. Please check your Google API Key.

    Hello,

    It’s a single place. I cleared the cache and didn’t fix it…

    This is the Retrieved Data error message:

    {

    “error message”: “This PI, site or mobile application is not authorized to use this API key. Request received from IP address xxxx:xxxx:xxx:xx::, with empty referer”,
    “html:attribution”: [ ],
    “status”: “REQUEST_DENIED”
    }

    The IP address shown in the message is not the same that I have restricted on Google Cloud Platform.

    @carlamkt Please change your IP to this one as that will resolve the error (so, in API Key Restrictions, under: Restrict by IP).

    I will be updating the notifications in the future to suggest the IP address mentioned in the Retrieved Data.
