API key keeps dropping

Hello,
When the plugin is disabled and then enabled, the API Key is empty.
Whent eh plugin updates and for events unkown, the API Key keeps on showing up empty from time to time so have to re-enter the key so no submissions was done when the KEY was not setup in the plugin. Is there not an option to have it “remember key” instead of having to enter it every time again to get it working again.
