API key invalid

    I use WP MAIL for many year and now it’s impossible to receive mail, i ha ve the message

    Heads up! The last email your site attempted to send was unsuccessful.

    Email Source: WP Mail SMTP Mailer: SMTP.com api_key: invalid

    I use the free version and it’s suppose don’t need api key

    Hi @rpoulin80,

    Thanks for reaching out & I apologize for the confusion! It appears that you’re currently using the SMTP.com mailer option under your WP Mail SMTP -> Settings page, but you have not configured that mailer by entering the required API key.

    Please note that SMTP.com and WP Mail SMTP are two different entities. You can use the free version of the WP Mail SMTP plugin with mailers such as SendLayer, SMTP.com, Brevo, Other SMTP, etc. The WP Mail SMTP plugin acts as a bridge to connect your preferred email provider or email account.

    If you want to configure the WP Mail SMTP plugin using the SMTP.com mailer, please refer to this guide. Alternatively, you can configure a different mailer on your site. You can view all the available mailers here.
