API key for version 2.5.1 ?

yes i have an account i signed up for it today,
also i have a wordpress website that has been set up since June.

well log in to your wordpress.com account and then into your profile, your API key will be in the top left hand corner, copy and paste it into notepad and save it.

ok im confused,

i started an account with www.remarpro.com today, this doesnt seem to have helped.

my website is run through wp-admin, is this wordpress.com ???

do i start another a wordpress.com account as well as the other two? will it work with my website????

wordpres.com is nothing o do with.org This forum is www.remarpro.com where you can download the software for your own blog, but you need a wordpress.com account to get an API key.your www.remarpro.com account gives you access to this forum and downloads, but not the key.
If you go to https://wordpress.com/
you can just sign up for an account, you don’t need to rgister a free blog, just the account, takes two minutes, then go to your profile and get your API key, hope you get there.

you’re welcome, , glad you got there,now you have your key, you can use it for stats or akismet, when you update wordpress ou just keep your key.
