    I installed the Display Events widget on my WordPress site. No matter what I do (changing the event status) it only shows past events. Clearly I’m missing something. Any tips from users?

    The Free plugin only shows future events, so it is indeed strange you are seeing past events – how ‘past’ are they hours or days or weeks?

    Can you provide more details? Some screen shots may help, you can use any image sharing service here and link to that.

    Thanks for the response. I uploaded the screenshots to this G-Drive folder. I’m showing the back end and what’s being displayed, as well as the Eventbrite list of live events that aren’t showing. Is there something basic I am missing?

    Thank you for the screen shots, I can confirm that the past events are NOT from my plugin, perhaps you have a different events plugin installed.or have custom post type for past events.

    I also note that the future events from my plugin are indeed showing correctly.

    Is your issue now resolved?

    It works now. I don’t know why. Thank you! I’m running into issue with display now, if you have any idea about those? https://walking-water.org/events/

    Looking at your site your pages don’t seem to work well unless they have a header image ( is that a featured image ) you could try that.

    Or you could put some padding between the top of the page and the shortcode.

    Thanks so much. For some reason, the featured image isn’t diaplaying, so there’s that. Padding is a good idea.

    Well it seems OK on smaller screens ( less than 1250px )

    This bit of additional CSS ( note specific to page id ) fixes it up a bit better

    @media screen and (min-width: 1250px) {

    .page-id-3055 .fusion-header {background: #d7d7d7;}

    .page-id-3055 .post-content {margin-top: 150px;}

    }
