    The REST API route definition for mc4wp/v1/form is missing the required permission_callback argument.

    Using the plugin on WP 5.5 latest AMP Standard Mode, Gives this above error.

    Not added the URL for you to see as breaks the entire page when activated so deactivated.

    Read more and found in WP 5.5 a permission_callback argument is required to be true for public virtual JSON Rest API’s.

    Otherwise, the plugin does what it says! , if you can help will be good.

    The warning is harmless and can be ignored.
    The warning will disappear in the next update.

    If for some reason you don’t want to wait for the next update you can pull the development edition from GitHub: https://github.com/ibericode/mailchimp-for-wordpress/

    Thanks got that from Github! and it’s working fine ??

    I hope the same gets updated automatically, or will have to delete the same and again get the same from WordPress Repo?

    I had renamed the zip before upload and removed the word “Master.”

    As long as the version number on WP repo is higher, I think you will receive the update from there. It doesn’t matter what the name of the zip was during upload as long as you didn’t rename the folder inside of the zip.
