API: Can we capture funds using the API?

    Hello,

    We want to trigger the capture using the API.
    The API currently allow to change status but no indication that changing status to completed for example will trigger the capture.

    Any help will be appreciated

    Hi there,

    The PayPal Powered by Braintree gateway will process authorized charges when the order status is changed to “Processing”. If you update the order status via API, this should work to capture the authorized payment ??
