APCu Manager not working

Can you tell me if you see cached objects in PerfOps One > Tools > APCu? If so, can you tell me how many?

Note, APCu is not a page cache – sorry if you thought it was… It is a object cache (so, it speeds mainly WordPress core and db queries).

OK. So basically APCu caching is working, but stats don’t.

Generaly there’s 2 reasons why stats aren’t working:

• your cron is not working or at a very low frequency (5 min are recommended for APCu manager)
• your hosting plan blocks some APCu features (rare, but it does exist)

Could you verify your cron is working with frequency of 5 min or less?

Sorry for late reply. Despite my correct setting, WordPress isn’t notifying me of your messages. Very strange. May I know <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>how</span> I can check if cron is working or not? Thanks.

I appear to have 1 cronjob running in cPanel to create automatic daily backups: “/usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/softaculous”/cli.php –backup –auto=1 –insid=26_24411

However, I don’t see any Apcu cronjob in my cPanel. Also scheduling of posts is not working.

The cron to which I am referring is the WordPress cron itself.

Just keep in mind to run it at least once per 5 minutes.

Sorry, I do not understand your solution and the connection to a cron job.
I have installed APCu Manager and Decalog but no cron job
APCU manager, DecaLog, and PerfOps One are up-to-date
My ?Provider uses Object-Cache APCu

But still I get :
Median server response time was 769 milliseconds. It should be less than the recommended 600 milliseconds threshold.
No client caching response headers were detected.
A page cache plugin was not detected.

Is there no solution without diving into nerd’s waters?

APCu Manager is an object cache system. Not a page cache one…
So yes, it is normal if you see “No client caching response headers were detected” and “A page cache plugin was not detected”.
