I only notice this now but posting to Mastodon has ceased since mid september. I used to post with a blog account-handle. Should I just alter the handle?

If you want to use the blog-user, it is important to not use a name, you have used for a user (an author) before. The blog-user is a new user and giving it an existing name, does not start a migration, so you will result in an inconsistent state, because mastodon might have cached the old endpoints and I am not sure how Mastodon handles changes of signatures.

Long story short: Please use a different username for the blog and the authors.
