AOL status & Spam Karma plugin questions

  • #1. Does SK override all the ‘discussion’ settings in the options? I specifically have an IP address listed so that this 1 guy’s comments will always be held for moderation. Since installing SK though, he’s getting through (the bastard).

    #2. I got the AOL online status plugin (https://www.calevans.com/view.php/page/online_status) and it seems to show the appropriate icon for my status (available/ away/ idle/ etc.). There is text that goes along with the icon, and it always displays “Unknown”. [note- I changed the text from ‘unknown’ to ‘lost’, but the point is that the correct text isn’t being displayed.]

    [update]- Got AOL working. Thanks to Cal!!! Curious about SK though.

    Hi Elmsblog,
    I think SK may override WP’s moderation. I’d try adding the guys IP to SK’s blacklist. Go to SK2, then pick blacklist, then add the IP to “IP blacklist”.

    I’m not entirely sure how SK’s blacklist works, but at least he’ll get negative SK points.
