Anyway to bulk erase the Alternative captions?

Thanks for your question. You can use the the_content filter of WordPress to remove them in run time. An example is available in this doc – https://imageattributespro.com/bulk-remove-wordpress-image-titles/

With the pro addon (Image Attributes Pro), you can update it in the database by using an empty custom attribute. The above linked doc explains that too.
