AnythingSlider autoplay problem

  • Hi,

    I use this great plugin to show some slides on the front page, but for some reason the auto play feature behaves weird. The auto play will not start unless the mouse cursor have touched the slideshow area.

    If I reload the page, the slideshow will not start. If I touch the slideshow with the cursor (doesn’t matter if it’s a milisec or a sec) the auto play start after a few seconds like it’s supposed to do.

    I also tried to deactivate all other plugins, but it didn’t help.

    Hmm, maybe I’m the only one with this problem. The developers website is undergoing a redesign, so I can’t reach him :/

    If you look in the plugins/slideshow directory and open up slideshow.js, you’ll find ‘timeout’ in the jquery cycle settings (line 32 of the code):

    timeout: 0,

    Comment that line out or remove it altogether to get your autoplay to work.
