    sorry haven’t tried this yet.

I am here looking for a resolution too with the same theme.

I am able to view /events page, but everything on the page disappears except for whatever I put into page builder. So events show up along with anything else I include, but the websites menu, footer, etc is all gone only on this page.

I’ve tried not using the page builder and it still acts the same.

Weird. Can’t seem to figure it out.

Have you tried contacting Elegant Themes support? They may have come across this issue before and have a solution.

Yes, I have left a message on their forums as well.

They appear to have taken the same position as you at EM.

It’s too bad, because both apps have a huge following, and Divi truly is remarkable when compared to other themes. Having been in sale and marketing for decades, I can tell you there’s an opportunity in this for both camps should they try to contact each other, work out the details, and leverage the hell out of it.

    Just saying…..

hows the current situation with divi and event manager. do they word well together?

No, the same problem remains which makes it not possible to use both. Divi says ask Events folks, Events folks say ask Divi.
End result you cannot use both together ??

is there a problem with custom post types in general using divi. do you know a workaround. for me its just important to use event manager on some pages with a basic layout…

Our work around was to stop using Divi. We switched to other themes. There are now a number of them available similar to Divi, but we haven’t used them with EM yet. Personally, in my own experience and my own personal opinion, EM provided a far superior product and especially support. I put more credence in their efforts. We had ~ 360 locations and over 23,000 daily events running in EM and it worked great.

The only temp workaround we found when we ran both together was to use EM on pages that were composed using the standard editor, not the Divi editor.

I am running Divi 2.4.6.4 together with EM. The events stopped showing up in admin, while all events still showed on the site. Changed to Twenty Fifteen and all events showed up in admin.
Anyone here know what in Divi that is causing this?

Looking over ETs supportforum and I see ET is working on a fix. There is also a temporary fix that can be pasted into Divi’s function.php-file.

there is no fix yet as of August 2015 – just fyi
