Anyone Use Hybrid Connect with Autoptimize Plugin? Conflicts.

    Howdy,

    Anyone use Hybrid Connect opt in forms with the Autoptimize plugin? I’m having troubles. Optimizing javascript makes the HC forms disappear. There is a field in Autoptimize that allows you to exclude javascript that you don’t want optimized by entering “unique stings” from the code or links to external files. I tried adding things like hc_ and https://example.com/wp-includes/js/admin-bar.min.js, hc_shortcode_connector and other things, but no dice. The forms still disappear. Anyone found a solution for this? Big conflict between the plugins.

    The developer of Autoptimize suggested the following and his first suggestion worked like a charm. The url is tsunamionthesquare.com in case more context is needed for random Googlers.

    “I would add this to the JS exclude-field;
    jquery.js, window.hc_, hc_shortcode_connector, hybridconnect”

    “You could also try with the “look only in head” and “force in head” options.”
