Anyone tested Jetpack on this theme?

I suggest you try it on your own by having a local test environment or local wordpress install. This way you will know personally if there is a problem with Jetpack and Blue Planet related on what you want to do.

I do have a sub domain for this theme to make test actually. But since im not an engineer or developer I always ask feedback around, because I dont have the skills yet to solve every problem I may encounter trying different plugin combinations and themes.

I love this theme anyway, and the developer is nice guy. That’s why im opening topics to improve its developing. I wish I could be somehow helpful ??

Anyway, I’ve just installed Jetpack also on the main site, which ive just installed on my VPS. So far so good for now now. This topic may be also interest for those who willing to try it and like this theme, which in my opinion deserve better visibility for being a free theme.

So I hope my feedbacks can be helpful for the developer to improve and tweaking the developing

And when it comes testing themes and plugin, beside compatibility, page speed is always a concern for me, because is considered an important factor to please google PR and also user experience.

Maybe a lot of images? One image is also one http request. Can you share your site’s url so I can also do a speed test?

On this site there is NOT Jetpack installed yet, but on the other one I’m developing with this theme, there is a bug on the side bar titles with H1 tags for example.

The images displayed are normal headers as every WP blog roll. Ive added maybe Too many images outbound links on side bar?

Or maybe is the images slideshow ? Could be, but It should’t be that heavy…

For first-time loading your site is average for 4seconds which I think is bad since you are targeting for google to like you and as well as your first visitor. I suggest you minify the javascript and css ( all possible ) to reduce their file size. Also I suggest to Image Sprite all possible images.

For returning visitor ( who still don’t clear cache and cookies ) your site’s average loading time is 1s.
