• Bluehost tells me they do not support or allow SMTP relaying so I’m wondering if anybody is able to use any third party bulk mailing services on Bluehost since Tribulant Newsletters doesn’t support APIs of any them and can only send via SMTP:

Amazon SES — via SMTP — and SNS
    Dyn Email Delivery SMTP
    MailGun SMTP
    Mandrill SMTP
    SendGrid SMTP

If anyone has been able to use these via SMTP on Bluehost, how did you get Bluehost to allow you to use SMTP relaying and what kind of throughput are you reliably getting (hourly volumes)?

In any event, APIs are more reliable, allow faster throughput and have less issues so I’m also wondering why they don’t support the APIs of any 3rd party, bulk mailing services.
