• Hello,

I was hoping that the plug-in WP-Client would work with Polylang since I was seeing the Custom Post Types “Hub Pages” and “Portal Pages” in Polylang options… however, I can’t see how WP-Client can direct to the proper language login page, and then open the proper language Hub page depending on the current language selected.
It only works for me in the default language (English), and this breaks the language selection if the other language, Spanish, is active.
WP-Client support leaves a lot to be desired and in this case isn’t being very hepful neither.. they say:

“While we do have some customers implementing Polylang in conjunction with WP-Client, unfortunately this is not something we officially endorse or support at this time, so we cannot say with certainty that this will work for your situation or provide the guidance how to configure it properly. But we have seen that it worked for HUB page too.”

I was thinking that my site was in its final steps, but now I have a huge problem if I can’t make WP-Client work… I saw there’s similar posts in the past, both for Polylang and WPML… does anybody know a solution with this plug-in, if there’s any?

    Thank you.

I found a solution, that’s all good now.

It is very hard that some of the authors will reply you here: they say that for the free version there is no support (for me any publication, free o at charge, must have support, but …).

Mauro, as a small business owner, I can understand that they may not have the resources to take care of everyone who is using their free version. I am OK with that, and already very grateful of what Polylang offers for free…
I am more bothered of the support of plug-ins that I paid, such as this response of WP-Client (saying, “we know that this can be solved as some users have made it, but we won’t make the effort to help you since this is not officially supported”).
My question was more directed towards the community of users.
Anyway, I finally solved this by myself (after many tries and hours), so, well, time to move on… ??

In any case there are some duties.
Understand that if small business they can’t dedicate a full support, but a presence in this forum (Polylang plugin forum) once in a while (1 time per week?) should be correct.
It is not pay or not: many pay plugin authors have the same habit.
Anyhow this is just my opinion.
I appreciate this plugin a lot, the author made a great job: pity they are absent and I already solved by myself two issues for them.
