I mean, the idea is there, it gives me the posts and dates. But it displays it in a vertical list, has its own background, comments and post author. I don’t want all that.

I’d just like the thumbnail, post title and date.

If you look closely, it does have control to show/hide excerpts, thumbnail, etc.

To display in a gallery manner, you can just change the block via CSS, by changing the

display: block

to

display: inline-block

looks like this plugin even allows you to define a CSS file for itself. But if customizing CSS is not desired, then I haven’t had luck to find one yet with that kind of layout.

Thanks for all the help. Yeah, I’m just going to use this plugin and edit it with css. One big issue though: When I installed this plugin, it doesn’t allow me to edit any of the parameters for some reason. I can post a pic if you want. Maybe it doesn’t work with the newest version of wordpress. Should I try re-installing it?
