Anyone else had trouble moving from local to remote or viceversa?

Can this be done w/ 3.0? I can have one working either place but not both… I get a working site on one or redirected to install.php on the other.

On a side note – it peaks my interest that this upgrade notification comes up and so easily could destroy all of your work. With people using WP in so many different ways, is it safe to approach an upgrade like that?

If the upgrade doesn’t destroy your site, does that mean you’re using WordPress incorrectly?
