Any way to varify email address of post submitter

hi, we are using this plugin on our press release portal, but it has one flaw, anyone can submit press release or self promotion using any imaginary email id, is there any way to verify the email address before post go for submission, we are dealing with like 200 fake submission every day and sometimes real content get ignored.
