any way to stop image map areas from showing up in search results?

I have this problem too on a beach resort’s website that I am an admin of. It is especially an issue because this site has an image map where you can click on a cabin to go to its page, but when you search for a cabin, the blank image map area page is the first result instead of the actual cabin’s page. Anyone out there have any ideas?

I’m wondering if marking the imagemap post as “private” (not “Public” and not “Password Protected”) will stop the ‘blank page’ from being returned in the search results?

I just changed one of the imagemap posts, but it still shows up in the search results… anyone know how to force a search index update?

I’ve turned imagemap areas to non-public now, so they don’t show up on search results. Version 1.2.3 will have this fix.
