Is is possible to define the order of your snippets without recreating them in the order you want them to appear?

Hello @diane-sp2 – The snippets are added placed in the order of their ID.

    Example: 1..2..7 & so on

Unfortunately, currently, there is no way to reorder the snippets other than to recreate/edit them in the order you want. However, this is a good prospect for one of our future releases and we will certainly consider it.

    Thank you,

I’ve recreated the snippets in the order I would like them to appear, however, it still places my Lead Conversion Snippet above the Global Site Tag. I’ve triple checked to verify the id numbers, but it still shows ID 6 above ID 5.

    See screenshot

Any ideas how to rectify this issue? Other than that, it’s a great plugin.

Can you please provide us with a link to your website with both the snippets active so that we may take a further look at this?

    Thank you,

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Here’s the specific page with both of the snippets:

Hello @jhouse – This is certainly strange! – Can you please tell me the steps you followed to recreate the snippets?

Have you made any updates to the IDs in the database?

    Thank you,

Yes, I created the Global Site Tag first (ID:5), then the Lead Conversion Code snippet second (ID:6). The only thing I did differently when creating them is used Site Wide for ID:5 and Specific Pages for ID:6.

No, I haven’t made any manual changes to the IDs in the database, but can if you think that’s a good idea.

Thanks again for your continued support!

Hello @jhouse – By replacing/recreating them, I meant just replacing the code in each of the snippets. The snippets are always arranged in the ascending orders of their IDs.

Is there anything that you have done differently? If so, can you please provide me with the steps to recreate it?

We are always glad to assist you,

    Thank you,
