Any way to remove the taxonomy base name from the slug?

Example: I have a multisite called https://url.com/germany/
1. Created a taxonomy name called “cities”
2. Created category in cities called “berlin”So >> https://url.com/germany/cities/berlin << is valid but I’d like to remove “cities” from the slug name so that https://url.com/germany/berlin is valid and “cities” is no longer displayed.
Any thoughts on this?
