Any way to make the home icons each different colors

You can use a css class specific to each item.. so this would effect the first:

.home-iconmenu.homeitemcount1 a {
background: red;
}

and the second would be:

.home-iconmenu.homeitemcount2 a {
background: blue;
}

and so on.
