Any way to improve performance?

  • First of all thank you very much for this great plugin. This was one of the things that allowed me to make the decision to move to WordPress from Joomla.

    I am seeing, however, a hit in performance when using the plugin…I have run the “P3 Plugin Profiler” plugin which measures the impact of plugins to website performance.
    Wordpress SEO is more resource heavy than any other plugin, making up more than 20% of the plugins load impact (32 plugins active at the moment); in absolute numbers -as measured by the aforementioned plugin- it accounts for 0,1875 seconds burden on site’s performance.

    I find the plugin necessary and it is true that in contrast to other plugins it loads on every webpage, but it would be nice if its load impact for the site could be decreased.

    Is it possible?
