Any Way to Get Posts from different WordPress db on Same Website?

    In my primary site (site #1) I am using WP Carousel to display my latest posts in a row with four to the row. But I am creating a new WordPress site (site #2) just to feature these posts.

    Is there any way to keep the WP Carousel working in my site #1 but have it get post content from site #2?

    Thanks in advance for any ideas!

    I forgot to mention that both sites AND their databases are on the same hosting account.

    The WP Carousel will pull the posts from the website where the plugin is installed. Unfortunately, the plugin won’t inherit data from any other database other than its own.

    Your understanding would be highly appreciated.
