• I love the customisation options of Chaplin over twenty twenty, but would love my blog to look more like a blog – i.e full text and multiple posts on the main page

I’d also like the option not to use a featured image.

I’ve looked through the support forums and the config options and can’t see a way to do this – is it possible or likely to be a future release?

    Hi @nzjamesb,

You can disable the fallback image on archive pages by going to Appearance → Customize → Images, and checking the “Disable Fallback Image” option. That way, archive pages will only display an image if you’ve set a featured image.

It’s not currently possible to switch to a more traditional blog structure in Chaplin – at least not without pretty extensive code changes through a child theme. As for adding it as an option… Never say never, but I’d say it’s unlikely I’ll get around to it, given how large of an option it would be.
