Any way to exclude CPTs from search results

Hi lmartins. Yes, it’s possible to exclude CPTs from the search results. If you want to prevent a CPT from showing up by default, then you can use the core wp_link_query_args filter: https://github.com/WordPress/WordPress/blob/fc349932c0d1995603fe3f24953318c4c925390e/wp-includes/class-wp-editor.php#L1334

Otherwise, you can use modifiers to change local results. Here’s a modifier that limits results to a particular CPT: https://gist.github.com/bradyvercher/5025368
