Any Way To Detect Hidden Spam Links?
-
I recently found a few hidden spam links on one of my websites that is protected with Wordfence. I ran the full scan and it did not detect these. I guess I understand why it did not detect them since they could be legit links I put there but I am now wondering if Wordfence has any options to help me locate hidden spam links?
Maybe something like a feature to display a sorted list of links that appear in my website? Ideally this would include the option to display only external links or internal or both. And it would have the option to keep or automatically remove duplicates from the list to make it easier to scan at a glance to locate spam. And maybe an option to exclude certain domains I enter.
And even more ideal would be if Wordfence could also detect and flag hidden links in the listing. For example, any link that uses “display:none;” or sets font size to zero or moves the link off the screen or otherwise hides the link.
So, I guess I am asking two questions…
1) does any of this exist?
2) if not, can you please consider these as enhancements that would make the manual process of searching for hidden spam links easier?
