Any way to change marker appearance in free version?

    Is there no way at all to change the appearance of the marker in the free version?
    By replacing a marker image, someplace or anything?
    IS the marker an image, or is it some other kind of resource?

    My client does not like the appearance of the markers so bold, when in reality his service area includes everything on the map including the cities.
    So the markers should be less vivid, more subtle.

    Does free version have themeing that would change map appearance.

    I don’t mind buying plugins, and maybe we’ve already purchased this very plugin.
    But it is a shame when it is hard to decide what you can do in the free version, to at least utilize all the features you fine folks are so gracious to offer for free.

    When free vs paid gets cloudy, people tend to just move on to another free offering.

    Initially I chose the WD plugin on the ability to draw polygons, etc.
    The client changed up the game on me.

    Please note, that you can change the appearance of the markers the following way. Please edit your markers and find Custom Icon option.

    You can Choose from Icons provided by Google Maps WD (click to download first), as well as Upload your own pin image. Please check this screenshot.

    As for the themes, they are surely available in Pro version of Google Maps WD plugin. Please feel free to check them out using the following link:

    I am asking about the free plugin, so the answer is there is no way to change the marker appearance in the free version then?

    I’m sure there must be some way, of coding a solution, even if it is not as handy as using the paid plugins assets. Perhaps there is a google resource applicable for changing the appearance of markers, that would work?

    The first answer was some what deceptive then, as to the free plugins capabilities.
