Any way to add an ADDITIONAL fee for West Coast zipcodes?

    I got my weight-based shipping all set up, but the client wants to add an additional fee to shipments to the west coast zip codes. At first, I thought it would be easy; I figured I could just enable the Local Delivery Shipping option and target those zipcodes with wildcards. The problem with this is that Local Delivery appears not as an additional fee, but as an option INSTEAD of weight-based shipping. Dang.

    I would even be happy if I could even just get a checkbox that says “For West Coast Shipping, add $10 shipping fee” that the customer has to check. Then, it will be up to the customer if he checks it and up to the website owner if he wants to honor any sales to west coasters who didn’t check that box.

    You need to find someone to implement this feature for you. It’s not possible with built-in WC/WBS options.
