Any update on custom fields?

    Hi, just wondering if there’s any progress on using custom fields – ie dropdowns. Also, are there any plans to remove the 40 character limit on the label?

    Hello Garry,

    Custom fields are added as metadata to Stripe charge objects, and Stripe imposes a 40 character limit on metadata name length.

    As for the custom field types, we are working on a form editor which will provide much more flexibility, and it will also mean configurable field type for custom fields.
