any surefire way to get paid?

  • I know this may raise eyebrows but every designer knows there are situations the client doesn’t fully trust you and you don’t fully trust client, whether to deliver the job and get paid, or get paid then deliver the job. I have been thinking maybe there’s somewhere a plugin or a script that would allow you to lock the site in case client defaulted on payment. any suggestions? thanks in advance. souleye

    This may not be the best place for that type of request or discussion.

    * Business models based on experience, common sense and ethical behavior will probably help to minimize the issues you’re concerned with. Legal counsel and firm contractual agreements may help in taking care of the rest. They will also go a long way in preventing you from injuring your own reputation or incurring legal woes through any perception of questionable actions of your own.
