any plans to update?

I am working on an update to add some new features, however I have not done a lot of testing with this plugin and the new zones. Would you mind explaining what issues you are seeing so I can be sure to investigate them before releasing the update?

I’ve been using your plugin for a while and it works well BUT the new WooCommerce with Shipping Zones seems to mess with it. An old install with WooCommerce prior to 2.6.8 (2.5.5) works fine, but update WC to 2.6.8 (current) and “Shipping” disappears from the list of available shipping options. The text in the “Add Shipping Method” box reads:
“Choose the shipping method you wish to add. Only shipping methods which support zones are listed.”
And the options in the drop down only offer:
Flat Rate
Free Shipping
Local Pickup

I’m sorry @kathyw but I do not understand what you are referencing here. This plugin separates a cart into packages on the Cart and Checkout pages. It is not a shipping method itself, it simply manipulates the shipping methods you have. Therefore it will not appear as an option in the ‘Add Shipping Method’ popup.

Are you sure you are referring to this plugin?

I’ve gone back to WooCommerce 2.5.5 which works well with it, and there I’ll stay. I can’t afford customers shops to break like that, and I’m damn glad I’ve got WP auto updates disabled!

Okay, if you are having trouble with the shipping method, it is best to contact support by opening a ticket: https://bolderelements.net/support/tickets/new/

Please note, however, that I am not aware of any issues with running the latest WooCommerce along with the Table Rate method. You will not find it as an option in the new shipping zones because plugins have to be specifically developed for them. This will come in version 4.0 due out early next year. Until then the plugin simply functions as it did before, using the self included zones under the ‘Shipping Zones’ tab.

If you have trouble getting shipping to show in the cart but everything works well under WooCommerce 2.5, then it may be your theme. If it overrides the cart template for shipping, you will need an upgrade when using WooCommerce 2.6 as they made significant changes to these templates in 2.6.
