Any known plugin conflicts that prevent tooltip on map from popping up?

when i click the tooltip icon on the map, it pops up in the top left corner of the map for a split second and disappears right away. it used to work, but it doesnt now. I installed buddypress recently and i wonder if its that. im trying to disable buddypress to confirm if its that but to be honest i cant disable it to check. not sure why. anyone else have a problem not having the tooltip pop up? any solutions?
