    Hi,
    Just wondering if there were any known issues on the last update of your feed? I now cannot get in to Attribute Mapping screen, or get past the initial setup screen to create a new feed, it just hangs.
    Kind Regards

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • @rospam,

    Are you getting an error message / screen when trying to access the Attribute mapping page?

    Thx
    Joris

    I think we found the cause of this bug:
    When having a WooCommerce store with a considerable amount of products AND running a PHP version lower than 7 the plugin takes a too long execution time getting all product attributes for populating the drop-downs.

    We are working on a solution to fix the issue. In the mean time, upgrading to PHP 7 will most likely prevent the plugin from running into problems ??

    I’ll keep you posted when the issue is fixed.

    Thank you Joris,

    No error message, just a blank white screen when attribute screen is loading, then it stops loading and stays on the blank screen.

    Will try the upgrade route in the mean time.

    Kind Regards

    I changed to php 7.1 and it kind of works, but has this at the top of the screen in the attribute mapping screen:

    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘standard’ in /home4/rohan/public_html/wp-content/themes/despacho/theme/functions-template.php on line 470

    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘shop’ in /home4/rohan/public_html/wp-content/themes/despacho/theme/functions-template.php on line 471

    Warning: Illegal string offset ‘ghost’ in /home4/rohan/public_html/wp-content/themes/despacho/theme/functions-template.php on line 472

    Have gone to php 7.0 and the warnings have dissapeared.

    It’s not an issue yet, but it is taking a very long time to process the 4500 products, 86% after 15mins, it used to be done in less than 5mins.

    I’ll keep you updated

    Regards,

    @rospam,

    Thanks for the heads-up and great you upgraded to a higher and faster PHP version. Nonetheless I will still try to solve the issue you ran into in one of the upcoming releases of the plugin. It is most likely also causing the slow down in processing your product feeds.

    The warning messages you posted seem not to be related to our plugin but the theme you are running.

    have a nice weekend & thanks for your help.

    @rospam,

    I’ve pushed out a new release yesterday that speeds-up things for PHP 5.6 users. However that improvement will not solve all issues for users with thousands of products running on PHP 5.6. Upgrading to PHP 7.0 works significantly better ??

    I will close this issue for now and search for more speed improvements should that be needed by you or other users.

    Thanks!
    Joris
