Any help to modify the event calendar widget?

Hi guys,

i’m using this plugins and i’m quite satisfied. But one of my customers asked me to modify the event calendar widget. Well i’m good with css but not so good with php code.

what she asked me is to show the numbers of events in the calendar.. do you think it is possible?
