The only issue my client has with the site I’m building is that he really likes his logo (and so do I), but it is vertical and needs to be displayed at about 206×380 pixels and I can’t figure out how to make that happen. I thought I would put it in a sidebar widget but when I placed the url in the widget text box, that’s exactly what I see on the page. Does anyone have a good idea for where to incorporate a logo? He’s not crazy about the modification I made to fit it at the top left…
    Thanks!

I would suggest incorporating the logo image on to a banner image. And use the banner as the main branding. For the logo area, use the Text Logo option that comes with Vega.

Answered my own question, but now I have another, so I’ll enter that separately. To solve my problem, I entered the html code for displaying an image, and guess what? It displayed. I made it a little smaller and it works great. Now if I could only get the widget to display on my home page…that’s my next problem…

Which widget is it, that is not displaying on the home page?

My text widget isn’t displaying on the home page but it’s on the others. (edgarinc.org)
I played around with placing the logo in a banner image but sometimes it would get cut off, or just not look right. I’ll spend more time on that once I’m finished with pages because I think you are right about that being the best option.
