Any feedback appreciated

  • My site Computer Learn How has been up and running a little over 3 months so thought it was time I got some feedback from fellow bloggers on what you think about the site.

    Also Traffic wise its pulling in about 200 visits a day, 100+ are from google organic search is this along the right lines for a site so young.

    but your slider is in the bottom…

    i mean isnt it nice if the slide is at the upper part of the content just below the menus…

    The google ad right in front of the eyes on the front-page is a bit of a turn off, instead of such high quality articles you have written. That one banner tends to dilute the overall quality in the first look itself. Also because your menu bar is black the ad looks more prominent due to high contrast. May be you should think about moving it to a sidebar or come up with some other alternatives.

    The header image needs a little work i guess. Key highlights of the blog looks randomly scattered as of now, you could consider at least to display them in order. I am sure you will come up with something creative and nice to look at that will help people stay at your blog.

    p.s – The domain name itself is a keyword having over 2,110,000,000, results and comes in first page on third position, which is awesome..so the blog definitely seem to have a very bright future.

    Ok made a few changes while I had half an hour as the feedback I had from you was the same as I had from somewhere else so something must have been very bad with that header lol. Any better?

    Your website is very stylish, I’m impressed with the looks. You’ve got a ways to go, but if you’re already getting 100+ visits from search, you’re doing really well–much better than I (I get less than 5 from search a day, but then again my blog’s a bit different).

    I’ll definitely be subscribing.

    Whoa…that is a drastic change, I knew you could manage that..didn’t know all this could be done within half an hour. Looks way more professional now, you already seem to be getting fans. lol.

    @bestofblogger is right, you should consider making a Fanpage and start syndicating your rss there, you will definitely be getting a significant amount of traffic from there too. Anyone who has good content this strategy works wonder. Also try this cache plugin. It will speed up your site like crazy.
