any easy captcha style plugins for 1.5.1.2?

trying out a couple of captcha style plugins- none of them seem to be working for me. (yes, Ihave the convert progs. on the server and I know the path).
Do you know of any good easy to install plugins like this that dont require chron jobs, massive editing, buggy or not supported?
