Any chance to SMS posts by category or manually in the future?

This is a ridiculous question, but I have to ask. I do not know how this works. It is awesome though!
I need this to send SMS to my students for homework/class info posts. Not everything I post. Can I manually send/select posts in the future? By category would work too.
