Any alternatives to sliders that won’t hurt SEO and slow down the site?

    I stopped using sliders on my homepage several years ago after reading how bad they are for conversion, hurts your SEO and slows down your site. Instead I use a static image above the fold.

    I’m surprised so many sites still use sliders. Might be a reason I don’t know about?

    Mys question, is there any decent alternatives of using a slider when you want to show more than one image above the fold?
