Any 3 for ￡6 offer

    Hi

    I’m setting up a woo commerce shop on a customers site.

    They sell greeting cards (30 different designs) which are individually ￡2.50 but the customer wants to set up an ‘any 3 for ￡6’ offer.

    I’ve set up the product list and when setting up the discount rules I can set this up as either a fixed amount off order subtotal of ￡1.50 or percentage off order subtotal of 20%. Either way seems to create different issues…

    The Rule is set as: ‘If Order items count’ ‘is a multiple of’ ‘3’

    As a fixed amount, the cards have to be 3 of the same design to apply the discount.

    As a percentage it allows any 3 designs to be picked but only applies the discount is the full total is a multiple of 3. So if a customer buys 4 cards, they don’t get the discount for the first 3.

    Can anyone suggest a rule to allow this? I’m using the free version.

    Yes that’s exactly what that rule does. If the number of purchased products is not a multiple of 3 as defined, then no discount. If you’d like to apply the discount on 3 items and that the 4th is sold at the standard price, then I suggest using the tiered pricing feature available in the pro version as described here https://discountsuiteforwp.com/tutorials/how-to-set-up-tiered-pricing-in-a-woocommerce-store/

    Sorry, thought I’d sorted this. The link you provide needs doing for each individual relevant item in the product list.

    I need to set up a discount ‘any 3 products (from the category) for ￡6’ from a dynamic product list based on a category of product.

    I need a solution that applies to anything from the category rather than individual items.

    Oh sorry that part is not ready yet. It’s on our wishlist and we plan to complete it within the next 2 months…
