• Hello,

    I hope I’m not ploughing already ploughed soil, but here goes:

    I have Norton Antivirus 2009 (German), recently installed, and I am now getting the following warning about an “attack” on my system, and as a result, the “visual” (as opposed to “html”) view does not appear in the edit box in WP “manage posts”. My blog is https://webmaster-resources.info. The warning says:

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    An intrusion attempt by wembmaster-resources.info
    was blocked. Application path \DEVICE\HARDDISKVOLUME1\PROGRAMME\INTERNET EXPLORER\EXPLORER.EXE
    Risk Name: HTTP Acrobat PDF Suspicious File Download
    Risk Level: High
    Attacking Computer: webmaster-resources.info (67.202.82.43,80)
    Attacker URL: webmaster-resources.info(wp-includes/js/tinymce/tiny_mce_config.php?ver=20080710
    Destination Address: TENUTA-610076A7 (192.168.0.21, 4702)
    Source Address: webmaster-resources.info (67.202.82.43)
    Traffic Description: TCP, www-http
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Is this a bogus alarm, or is it a real attack by something in my code somewhere?. I have the impression that it is not correct, but I don’t want to disable the blocking system until I’m certain.

    Thanks for any help!

    Craig Hesser
