• Im not realy sure what it all should do,and yes i do agree with some that wp is one huge big basket with 1.000.000 holes in it.
so yeah im pretty disapointed and thinking of kicking it out..
i installed the …DNS-anti-spam.php and even Flood Protection by comment.
but just 30 minutes later i got the first spam-comment after the plugins install.
    and again…https://www.phentermine-top-deals.com…or just ….https://www.phentermine.com
so do i realy have to believe that……phentermine isnt on any blacklist ?

    ahh goodmorning…
    yeah macmanx ive seen it.
well im still using wordpress he….he…not gonna give up that easely..
well i just installed the wp blacklist also ,so that means ive got 4 anti-spam plugs installed right now.

I haven’t had any comment spam so far, probably largely thanks to the extra preview step I require (which also includes validation). The plugin I use is available at https://stijlstek.nl/greek2me/src/

I am struggling with comment spam these days on multiple installs of wordpress. It seems to me that this should be a grade on issue for the “development” team. There should be official fixes for it, not hacks and add ons. I have perhaps 15-20 installs. For me to hack every one of them and then remember to hack them again in the next major upgrades is a lot of work and subject to mess ups.
The best solution I have found so far is to rename the comment file. The bot is able to submit comments even if comments are closed. That says to me that if they know where the post comments file is that they are able to use it even with closed comments.
I have been a little busy lately and not following closely. Are there steps being taken other than the various hacks, plug-ins, etc. Most I am seeing appear to be of limited value.
