I’ve attempted to install wordpress several times. Everytime, I get the same problem. I run the install, enter my database name and email into step one, and proceed to step 2. On step 2, all that appears is the wordpress banner, and no password is emailed to me. When I check the database, I see that the tables are created, but only the table wp_options is filled. I browsed the forums and several people suggested increasing the memory allowance for the script, which I tried. I’m still getting the error. Any ideas?

I’m running Apache 2.2, with mySQL and PHP 5. I use phpmyadmin to manage my databases.
